It's my second time coming here and this time my friends and I decided to come for brunch! We sat upstairs and had a nice view of San Diego. I've never sat inside since the last time I came it was busy! The food was delicious and definitely filling! The portions are a great size so if you wanted to try more than one item i recommend sharing. The drinks were delicious and they had happy hour going on! Our waiter was incredibly nice! He made our time there more enjoyable. I honestly can't wait to go back and try more of their foods. The only issue and it's not even a big one. But the chairs upstairs are small so if you are uncomfortable just switch it out for a bigger one.

Loved this place I was looking for somewhere fun We had an 1130 reservation so we got there too early for the craziness but had a nice lunch Food was good and our server Bernardo was great however since it was my bday they brought a cute car either churros and ice cream, said it was compliments of the house but still got charged ‍

Ordered Birria Fries to go and it was $16. So prices are a bit high. Staff was very nice, and food was delicious! Wait for my order was 15 minutes on a Saturday night, so not bad.

King & Queen Cantina is located on downtown SD with downtown usual street or parking lot type of parking. It's conveniently located in the corner and easy to find. Favorite part about my experience is the bright and loud artistic graffiti type of aesthetics. Chips and guac and my mole tacos were amazingly delicious! Customer service had great vibes! Would definitely recommend!

I came with three friends for a quick dinner on a Friday night. The service was fast and friendly, and our drinks were so good. We were able to order off the happy hour menu, which is a favorite thing of mine to do! There are other "more" Mexican places in San Diego obviously, but this is nicer than a hole in the wall spot if you want to go on a date night or meet up with friends. I highly recommend the Tamarindo margarita. So flavorful and just DIVINE!

Interesting place. We came here for Cinco de Mayo and it wasn't too crowded. They had some Cinco de Mayo deals like $5 margaritas and shots and $2 tacos; but even if you had come in on a different day, they seem to have plenty of deals going on (the happy hours food looks good!). The drinks we got were ok. They weren't strong but they weren't bad either. The food feels like they are more on the expensive side given the portion. I got the nachos and you could choose from chicken, asada, pastor or birria for the meat; I opted for the birria. For $20, I thought I would be full, but it was a rather small plate of nachos and I was still quite hungry at the end; taste-wise, they were ok. Our server was friendly and attentive. He did a great job taking our orders (we were quite a big group and we came at different times) and refilling our waters numerous times (I guess the big jugs are meant for margarita towers only. Can't spare them for water!). The lighting and decor inside are dark and neon and adds to the vibes if you're getting a late night snack after a night out.
